Lost City Museum hosts Museum Store Sunday on Nov. 25

 

OVERTON, Nevada – For the second consecutive year, Lost City Museum is hosting Museum Store Sunday – a day that gives holiday shoppers a unique option between Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

On Nov. 25, Lost City Museum Store will offer 25 discounts on select jewelry and American Indian crafts. The first 25 shoppers to visit the museum store will receive a gift and all merchandise in the store will be 10 percent off.

Museum Store Sunday is part of a global event with more than 700 museums participating.

Lost City Museum’s Store is a key source of revenue for its mission and programming, which includes Kids’ Day, Native American Day, and the recent Archeological Speaker Series.

Museum store shoppers do not need to pay admission.

Admission for those who wish to view the exhibits is $5 for adults and is free for museum members and children 17 and younger. The museum is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It is closed Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Lost City Museum is located at 721 S. Moapa Valley Blvd., Overton. To reach the museum from Las Vegas, take Interstate 15 north to exit 93. Access is also available from Lake Mead National Recreation Area or the Valley of Fire State Park. For more information, call the museum at (702) 397-2193.
