“Joyous Watercolor” exhibit on display in the changing gallery
The Lost City Museum presents the Watercolor art of Southern Nevada artist Joy Lamb. It will be on display from June 3 through June 31 2021. This is the first sole public exhibit for Joy Lamb. Joy’s career in art began at the insistent encouragement of a friend suggesting she take art classes. After finally agreeing, the adventure in art began. On the first painting, Joy loved the way the colors flowed and interacted. The Instructor called her “Miss Color” because she used the brightest colors. Joy Lamb had a long career in teaching and then as a technical writer for a computer company. Joy eventully settled in Southern Nevada after raising her children on the west coast.
