Overton, Nevada: The Lost City Museum presents an exhibit of artwork by Dale Cox in July. It will be available to view from July 1 to July 31 2021.
Dale Cox, a longtime resident of Southern Nevada, was born in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating from Raytown High School, he served in the U.S. Army and later in the air force.
Upon receiving an honorable discharge, Dale earned a bachelor’s of science degree in civil engineering and an associates degree in liberal arts. Dale’s early work experiences were in construction, business and a variety of jobs with the Western Electric Corp and as a highway designer with the engineering departments in Missouri and New Mexico. Dale was also a tunnel coordinator for Los Alamos National Laboratories and the Nevada Test Site.
“I am happy to have had a number of art shows in the Las Vegas area. I presently have art in a permanent collection at the Smithsonian sponsored atomic testing museum and the Valley of Fire State Park. It is a privilege to display my enjoyment of nature and the world through painting”
