Description
Dr. Kevin Burls from UNCE Reno will be at The Lost City Museum on March 9th at 10:00 a.m. discussing bees and pollinating plants.
Pollinators large and small play a huge role in our local landscape- they help maintain our beautiful wildflowers; assist farmers both past and present growing fruits, vegetables, and seeds; and control pest populations in amazing ways. This workshop will cover local pollinator diversity and ecology, teach what you can do to help protect local pollinators, and end with a short hands-on demonstration planting native pollinator seedlings at the Lost City Museum.
Plus, at the end, you’ll be given free native pollinator seedlings adapted for your area!
