Description

The Lost City Museum presents an art exhibit by Susan Perez in September.

Susan was raised with a great appreciation of the “great outdoors” and the beauty of nature. A background in the beauty and splendor of the mountain west helped instill the enjoyment of all forms of art. Susan began studying art and was inspired by “America’s first television art teacher Jon Gnagy in the 1950’s. Susan showed a talent for art at an early age.

Susan has taken college and private art classes from a variety of instructors.  Susan says that now she is retired, she enjoys the time she can spend with her friends in the Moapa Valley Art Guild, discussing, sharing and applying all she has learned from her art projects. Susan enjoys helping other artists achieve their goals. Susan prefers working with oils, but excels in all art mediums. “I love nature in all of its forms especially flowers for their sculptural quality”
